Lot Description
A Victorian silver table or desk lighter of chamberstick form, the compartmentalised oblong dish with burner flanked by two cylindrical receptacles, standing on four shaped bracket feet and further loop handle. Hallmarked Walter Thornhill & Co (Hubert Thornhill), London 1891. Maximum height measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm), weight 5.8 ozt (183 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Cylindrical receptacles appear to stand off centre. Some heavier scratches and overall would benefit from a clean and polish. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
