Lot Description

A pair of late Victorian silver twin-handled dishes, each of pierced circular outline with foliate scroll embossing throughout, scroll handles with zoomorphic finials and raised above four splayed feet, also with foliate pierced decoration. Hallmarked Charles Edwards, London 1894. Height including handles measures 3 inches (7.6 cm), weight 8.54 ozt (265.7 grams).

Total lot weight: No

Both dishes appear in fair to good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Heavier tarnishing to one and both would benefit from a polish. Some minor dints and remnants of polish visible. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed but legible, maker's marks partly worn but still legible.
