Lot Description

A rare late 18th century New Hall attributed Bubblehead pattern porcelain tea service, comprising: a silver-shape teapot with bulbous vented finial to cover, the cartouche-form body with charming stylized chinoiserie decoration of figures in a garden, on four moulded flowerhead feet; together with milk jug, slop bowl, sugar bowl, five tea bowls and five saucers, unmarked (pattern 20), plus a larger silver-shape teapot, five teabowls and six saucers of similar period, (26 pcs ex. covers).
