An 19th century-style ebonised mantel clock, Astral of Coventry, with 5-inch square brass Roman dial, single train timepiece movement with lever platform escapement, the backplate with winder motif, stamped ASTRAL COVENTRY 6641, in George II bracket clock style case with foliage-cast handle, caddy top and moulded plinth on bun feet, 9.25" (23.5cm) high excluding handle.
