Lot Description

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Date bracelet watch. Circa 1960. Reference 1500, serial 601997. Signed automatic calibre 1560. Silvered dial with silvered baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Engine turned bezel, stainless steel case fitted to a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 34mm.

<li> Automatic movement is currently functioning.

<li> Movement appears in a good state, small discolouration in various places due to the age only.

<li> Date aperture functions as expected.

<li> Pitting and tiny imperfections noticeable to the entire surface  of the dial.

<li> Dial shows some small scuffs in a few places.

<li> Hour markers and Rolex coronet appear tarnished.

<li> Hands are scratched.

<li> Glass is heavily scratched and shows tiny chips to the edges.

<li> Case shows scratches to the entire surface as a result of general wear, majority should polish out.

<li> Crown is scratched and appears to screw back in only halfway.

<li> Bracelet appears heavily stretched and shows noticeable scratches to the entire surface.

<li> Clasp locks as expected but it is heavily scratched to the entire surface.

<li> Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case. <p>
