Lot Description

A mid 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond three-stone ring. The oval opal cabochon, with old-cut diamond sides, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Dimensions of opal: 6 by 6.2 by 3.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity. Weight 4.6gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The opal is abraded. The diamond detail is very bright and lively. Ring size N 1/2.
