A mid 20th century Assam Regiment diamond brooch. The single-cut diamond Rhinosorous with red gem cabochon eye, atop a black enamel ribbon reading Assam Regt, to the plain bar. Length 5cms. Weight 4.3gms. With associated case.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The diamond detail is bright. Red gem cabochon is a little chipped. Inner silk lining to case reads Hamilton&Co. LtdJewellers and Silversmiths, Calcutta, Delhi & Shinta.
