Lot Description

A 1920's silver salver of small circular form with a Chippendale style rim to a plain centre and raised on three foliate scroll feet. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1922. Maximum diameter measures 9 3/4 inches (24.8 cm), weight 13.87 ozt (431.7 grams).

The salver appears in good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks are clear and legible, some slight distortion to maker's mark.
