Lot Description

A 1920's small silver salver, having a scalloped border with foliate scroll decoration and enclosing a plain centre, the whole raised on three bracket style feet with further foliate scroll detail. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1927. Maximum rim diameter measures 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm), weight 14.29 ozt (444.6 grams).

The salver displays general wear including surface scratches and marks. Some quite heavy tarnishing is visible and it would benefit from a clean and polish. A couple of very slight dints, also some heavier scratches and nicks. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Also impressed with registration number and pattern number.
