Lot Description

A set of five early twentieth century continental coffee spoons and a single, similar example, all with guilloché enamel decoration to stems and reverse of each bowl, in shades of blue, pink, purple and white. The five spoons struck 930S with a maker's mark possibly for Marius Hammer (Bergen, Norway), the single white enamel spoon struck 925 alongside further marks. Gross weight 1.83 ozt (56.9 grams). All the spoons display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use.  They were likely once gilded but this is now quite dull and marked in appearance.  There is some damage to the enamel, mainly some cracks, chips and faded areas.
