Lot Description

A selection of silver and silver plated items, to include an Irish silver preserve spoon with crest and initial detail, hallmarked John Smyth (or Smith), Dublin 1852. Together with a Georgian table spoon and an Edwardian table spoon each with monogram and crest terminal, a silver 'Sherry' decanter label, three silver teaspoons, a cased silver plated pair of fish servers, a cut glass and silver plated sardine dish and a pair of silver plated sugar tongs. Gross silver weight 6.18 ozt (192.2 grams).

Good to fair overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Preserve spoon stamped Wm. Acheson. Engraved initials 'N.C' and crest of a chicken head holding a clover with wings spread. Table spoons with slight bruising to the bowls and general scuffs. Sardine glass dish with numerous chips.
