Lot 610

Lot Description

Two late Victorian silver cheroot holders of plain tapering outline with fixed and loose suspension rings, both hallmarked Chester 1896, together with a further, smaller cheroot holder with an amber mouthpiece, hallmarked Birmingham 1903. Largest measures 7.3 cm, gross weight 39 grams. (3).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

All three display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  They are all heavily tarnished and would need a clean and polish.  Some surface dints and bumps and especially some larger ones to one of the Chester cases.  Hinges and clasps all appear in working order.  The hallmarks appear rubbed in places but are mainly legible.
