An Edwardian silver cigar case of plain cylindrical form. Hallmarked William Vale & Sons, Birmingham 1901. Length measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 1.1 ozt (35.6 ozt).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints and a couple of small shallow dents. Recently polished. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
