Lot Description

An Edwardian small silver hinged box, of circular form having floral embossed lid with central plain circular cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1902, diameter 4.25 cm. Together with a silver card case of slightly curved rectangular form, hallmarked Andrew Barrett & Sons, Birmingham 1898. Gross weight 1.57 ozt (48.94 grams). (2).

Pot in overall good condition. Hallmarks appear clear but maker's mark is rubbed and illegible. Few small dents to exterior. Card case displays tarnishing and surface wear and rubbing. Hallmarks rubbed and distorted, particularly the city mark.
