Lot Description

Two rings, to include a 1950s 22ct gold band ring with scalloped sides, together with an oval-shape amethyst and engraved dress ring, with later added late 19th century 18ct gold band. Hallmarks for London, 1955, later added band with hallmarks for Birmingham 1893. Total weight 4.8gms.

Overall fair condition, both with light to moderate surface scratches. Please note the amethyst ring has a later added gold shank added to the modern metal shoulders and gallery with a later added stone set upside down. There is minor abrasion to the facet edges. There are some areas of deeper scratches to the band and two easily visible solder joins. The detail to the shoulders is slightly rubbed. Ring size O.

The band ring has some areas of deeper scratches and heavily rubbed patterning. Ring size J.
