CHARLES HORNER - a silver enamel scarab brooch, together with a further brooch attributed to Charles Horner, each designed as a scarab in flight with vari-shade blue and green enamel detail. One with makers marks for Charles Horner. One with hallmarks for Chester, 1909. Length 4.5cms. Total weight 9.4gms.

Overall condition fair. Surface scratches and moderate tarnishing in keeping with general age and wear. The brooch with CH makers marks has significant chips and deficient enamel areas. Clasp pin deficient. The second brooch with green and blue enamel has small chipped areas and localised discolouration. Pin hook deficient. Stamped sterling silver.
