Condition Report
Overall fair to good condition, with light to moderate surface scratches throughout from general wear and heavy tarnishing throughout. The piece would benefit from a clean. The enamel is in good condition, with just two very small chips to the blue circular area of enamel below the butterfly at the inner 'V' of the fan. Both of the end tourmalines have a small hole towards the top of the stone, one with a fine surface reaching crack. All gems show natural inclusions. One jade cabochon has a fairly even green colour, the other has patchier colour concentration. The central tourmaline is a fairly even deep pink, one outer tourmaline is a pale pink to yellow, the other is a purpley pink colour but has inclusions that cause iridescent colours to be seen as the light reflects off them. The pin is slightly bent. The clasp is in working order. The drop is possibly not original to the piece. It is stamped silver to the reverse.
