An early 20th century 15ct gold foliate seed pearl brooch.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Evidence of repair to the bottom of the leaves and acorn panel. Pin shows a different hue and may possibly be a different fineness of gold. With two possibly replacement seed pearls. Seed pearls have white body colour, showing pink overtones and fair lustre. There are noticeable blemishes to the surface of these pearls. Stamped 15ct. Bar brooch is slightly bent. The seed pearls untested for natural origin. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
