Lot Description

An open face pocket watch by John Bold. Hallmarked Chester 1828. Signed key wind fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary second dial to six. Silver case. 53mm.

Together with a stamped silver white metal Albert chain with T-bar and lobster clasp terminations. Approximately 52cm.

<li>Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches.  Impact damage to five o'clock.

<li>Case shows light scratches and marks. Detail heavily rubbed. Replacement case hinge pin sits proud.

<li>Chain has been heavily polished.<p>
