Lot Description

An open face pocket watch by Edwin Webb. Hallmarked London 1860. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Silver case. 44mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial shows noticeable cracks and marks. Dials also shows some chips.

<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing. Second hand appears to have been broken and is shorter than expected.

<li>Glass has scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case shows noticeable tarnishing. Case back has wear to the decoration. Hinges have wear to the corners.

<li>Pendent has tarnishing and marks. Bow appears to be a later replacement.<p>
