Lot Description

A platinum diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, with baguette-cut diamond shoulders, to the tapered band. Principal diamond estimated weight 1.55cts, J-K colour, SI clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 3.7gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear.<p>

<li>Evidence of resizing.<p>

<li>Principal diamond bright, slight yellow hue. Small dark inclusion visible through the table facet under magnification. Fair to good condition with nicks to the girdle.<p>

<li>Shoulder diamonds differ slightly in appearance. One has slightly more of a yellow hue than the other, scattered inclusions visible under magnification. The other has a significant cavity to the pavilion, visible to the unaided eye. Fair to good condition with small nicks.<p>

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
