Lot Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold foil-back emerald and seed pearl ring. The graduated rectangular-shape emeralds, with seed pearl spacers, to the scrolling band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1871. Weight 1.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Band worn thin.

<li>Emeralds appear pale, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions. Some are possible replacements.<p>

<li>Some seed pearl replacements. The surface nacre has worn to several. <li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
