Lot Description

A pair case pocket watch by F. Hume. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1837. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Outer case 54mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches, some lifting of the laminate visible to the naked eye.

<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.

<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.

<li>Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
