Lot Description

A Chinese Guangxu porcelain yellow-ground jar. Late 19th century, the cauldron-form body with unglazed rim over enamelled blossoming trees and flowering plants, unmarked, 6.75" diameter (at widest point) x 4.5" high, (17cm x 11.5cm), sold with an old turned hardwood cover (crack) and an old square hardwood stand with foliage-painted wavy apron on four ogee bracket feet, 7.75", (19.5cm) high overall.
