An early 20th century Swedish 18ct gold tourmaline and seed pearl necklace. Designed as a series of split pearl scrolling foliate panels, suspending alternating spiral-enclosed graduated pink tourmaline free-form beads and trace-link swags, suspending seed pearl drops and further scrolling foliate panel accent, to the fancy-link back chain and ring clasp. Swedish marks for 1906. Length 40.5cms. Weight 11.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Later safety chain in lower carat gold, differing colour.
<li>Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
<li>Seed pearls moderately well matched with variation in lustre, some slight discolouration.
<li>Tourmaline are a fairly well matched medium slightly purplish pink hue, slight variation in saturation and tone, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching.<p>
<li>Stones in good to fair condition with minor abrasions and some small chips.<p>
<li>Stamped 18k.
