An early 20th century 15ct gold opal and diamond brooch. The old-cut diamond, within an alternating graduated oval opal cabochon and old-cut diamond crescent, to the scrolling foliate sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 5cms. Weight 5.5gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Replacement clasp, slight discolouration.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Small, scattered inclusions.<p>
<li>Opals are well matched with good play of colour, predominantly green and orange hues.<p>
<li>Opals in in good condition with minor to moderate abrasion.<p>
