All pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some surface dints and bumps. Larger dent to the big caster. The pair of casters vary very slightly in size and in the piercing to the covers. One cover is fitted with a sieve and there is a further detached sieve, however this does not appear to fit the other cover correctly. There also appears to be a small repair to the main body of one of them, just below the girdle. The shell bowls of the spoons display some heavier wear around the edges but have generally faired quite well. Some distortion to hallmarks but mainly legible. Part hallmarks to lids of the pair of casters and pepperette but cover of large caster appears unmarked.
