Lot Description

A modern silver and copper Taverna pattern mug by Georg Jensen and designed by Henning Koppel, the bulbous and waisted copper body with silver rim and 'C' shaped handle. Marked to the underside Georg Jensen Design HK Denmark. Height measuring 4 inches (10 cm).

Condition Report

The mug displays some general surface scratching, marks and wear throughout. Also some tarnishing and discolouration to the copper and silver. Various little nicks in the metal especially around the silver rim. Impressed marks to the underside are mainly clear and legible, however the word 'Denmark' is a quite rubbed.
