Lot Description
A mid-twentieth century Italian tureen of circular form with twin handles, the cover with formalised leaf borders and an artichoke finial. Italian maker's marks for Brescia (1944-1968), alongside 800 in an oval cartouche and a crown mark, also in an oval cartouche, the cover appears unmarked. Rim diameter measures 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm), gross weight 29.99 ozt (932.8 grams).

Condition Report
The tureen appears in good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of a sticker to the underside. The assay marks are clearly legible, however the cover appears unmarked.
