Lot Description

A pair case pocket watch by Crane, Bromsgrove. Silver case, hallmarked Birmingham 1802. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with hour markers spelling out "Washmore 1805". Outer case 53mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial shows noticeable cracks and scratches. Dial also has a noticeable chip to the centre. Dial has marks.

<li>Hands are of a different appearance indicating one is a later replacement. Hands have marks and tarnishing.

<li>Glass shows marks and scratches.

<li>Inner case has marks, scratches and visible dints. Inner case has wear which has occurred by being inside the outer case.  Hinge has wear to the corners. Outer case has marks, scratches, dints and tarnishing. Hinge has wear to the corners.

<li>Pendent and bow have marks, scratches, dints and tarnishing.<p>
