A coral brooch and a cinnabar necklace. To include an early 20th century coral brooch of oval outline, designed as a stylised foliate cluster, together with a cinnabar single-strand necklace comprising twenty-five circular foliate carved beads, measuring 14 to 16.5mms. Coral untested. Length 46.5cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition of brooch good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. The base metal frame work has discolouration and significant glue residue to the stem ends joining the coral beads. The 9ct gold back mount is possibly a later addition. The coral is a reddish orange colour, untested for natural colour origin. Coral has light surface abrasion. Length 4cms. Total weight 12.8gms. Overall condition of necklace good to fair. Surface scratches and abrasion in keeping with general wear. Some beads have chipped areas, predominantly where the scrolling sections have come to a point. Re-stringing recommended as some knots are frayed. Screw clasp in working order.
