Lot Description

TUDOR - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case with engraved case back, hallmarked Edinburgh 1958.  Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, quarterly Arabic numerals. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 32mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning correctly.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial also shows visible pitting. Luminous hour markers show lost and discolouration.

<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing. Seconds hand is distorted so it it currently touching dials batons and other hands, this is resulting it the watch not functioning correctly. Luminous inserts show discolouration. Minute hand has a small hole to the luminous insert.

<li>Glass has scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks, tarnishing and small dints. Left hand side of the case shows some knurling when the case has been opened in the past. Personal engraving to the rear of the case.

<li>Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable wear/loss the gold plating. Crown has shows marks and tarnishing.

<li>Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.

<li>Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
