A late Victorian carved malachite memorial brooch. The oval malachite carved to depict a lady in portrait, to the scrolling detail surround and glazed panel to the reverse. Length 5.2cms. Weight 57.3gms.

This lot is in good condition, with light scratches to the metal in keeping with age and wear. There is one visible chip to the outer edge of the malachite approx. 1.5 x 1mm in size. Photo to glazed panel is of a seated man with a beard.
