Lot Description

A mid 19th century gold garnet floral brooch, the textured flower with circular-shape foil-back garnet centre, to the entwined foliate surround with foil-back garnet accents. Diameter 4.3cms. Weight 14.4gms.

Overall condition good. Circular garnet is a possible replacement. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Surface abrasions to foil-back garnets. Pin is a replacement, there is soft solder around the base of the hinge.
