Lot Description

A mid 19th century gold gem-set ring. The tear-drop shape citrine to the ruby and emerald accents and tapered engraved band. Ring size J. Weight 1.6gms.

This lot is in good to fair condition, with light scratches and tarnish to the metal in keeping with age and wear. Citrine is bright with a lemon yellow hue, it has accumulated dirt to the reverse and would benefit from a clean. The rubies and emeralds are typically included. One emerald has a surface reaching fissure across its width.
