A mid 19th century gold garnet and split pearl ring. The oval-shape garnet, within a split pearl surround, to the circular-shape garnet trefoil sides and bifurcated shoulders. Weight 2.3gms.

<li>Garnets medium dark reddish-purple, moderate saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone.<p>

<li>Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and fractures to the surface.<p>
