Lot Description

A selection of silver and white metal jewellery and costume jewellery. To include a late Victorian silver gilt oval-shape locket with raised ivy motif, a pair of silver cufflinks, three bracelets, two necklaces, a bar brooch and a heart charm. Locket with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1880. Length of locket 6cms. Weight of items with marks indicating silver 26.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Locket with wear to the gilt finish. Some small deep dents to the reverse.

<li>Locket deficient internal fittings.

<li>Necklaces believed base metal.

<li>Two bracelets believed base metal.

<li>One bracelet deficient clasp, with various small white metal coins, rubbed, one engraved 'Ypres, Sept 1915'.

<li>Bar brooch stamped 'sterling silver'. Purple paste heart with noticeable chip.
