Lot Description

A selection of late 19th to early 20th century silver jewellery. To include mainly brooches, a cross pendant with engraved foliate decoration, three silver Edwardian buttons, a late Victorian buckle ring and a brooch designed as a lute. (18 with 1 single earring) Ten with hallmarks. Lengths 2.5 to 66cms. Weight 92gms.

Overall fair to poor condition. Three brooches are deficient of their pins, one brooch has had a new pin and clasp attached quite crudely and there are noticeable dents to the brooch. There is moderate to heavy tarnishing and surface scratches throughout. Some pieces show shallow dents, many have replacement pins. The buttons show loss of detail due to over polishing. Ring size K 1/2.
