Lot Description

Two late 19th to early 20th century gem-set rings. To include a 15ct gold split pearl ring with textured scrolling shoulders, together with a composite purple paste three-stone ring. One split pearl and green gem deficient. Total weight 4.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.


<li>Bands shows evidence of repair.


<li>Split pearls white cream body colour, poor lustre. Damage to nacre visible.<p>


<li>Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>


<li> The head of the purple paste ring is believed to be gold plated and has been added to the gold ring shank. <p>


<li>Ring sizes L 1/2 and M 1/2.<p>
