Lot Description

A pair case pocket watch by Dison, Cambridge. Silver cases, hallmarked London possibly 1799. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Outer case 53mm.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial shows noticeable cracks and marks.

<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand is a different colour than the hour hand indicating that it may be a later replacement.

<li>Glass has scratches and marks.  

<li>Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks. Inner case shows wear caused by it being in the outer case. Outer case shows noticeable tarnishing, button to open the outer case is missing.

<li>Pendent and bow show light scratches, marks and tarnishing. Bow is loose.<p>
