Lot Description

A George V silver toast rack, the wirework frame of crescent form raised upon four lion paw feet, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., London 1911, length measures 4 inches (11 cm). Together with a 1920's silver toast rack raised upon four ball feet, George Unite, Birmingham 1922, length 4 3/8 inches (11 cm). Gross weight 5.0 ozt (158.1 grams). (2).

George V example with signs of resoldering causing some distortion to hallmarks. Slight distortion to frame and so does not stand firm, and displaying general light tarnishing and marks. 1920's examples in good to fair condition displaying general light tarnishing and hallmarks clear and legible.
