Lot Description

An Edwardian silver tea service, comprising teapot, hot water pot, milk jug and twin-handled sugar bowl, each of lobed bulbous form with scrolling handles and raised upon four paw feet. Hallmarked Asprey & Co. Ltd., Sheffield 1909. Height of hot water pot measures 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm), gross weight 50.38 ozt (1,566.9 grams).

Overall fair condition displaying heavy tarnishing and light marks to surface commensurate with age and use. Hinges both in good order. Hallmarks clear and legible with part hallmarks to both covers, finials and handles of teapot and hot water jug.
