Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted photograph frame, the oblong form with shaped terminal, the silver entirely decorated in relief with floral scrolls. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1900. Maximum height measuring 12 1/2 inches (31.5 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some significant losses to the silver, holes also in other areas of the silver. Cartouche vacant. Velvet reverse significantly worn, threadbare and would require attention. Easel arm hinge loose and ribbon torn. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
