Lot Description
An American silver dish of circular outline with beaded rim enclosing a pierced pattern border and centrally engraved initial, maker's mark for Gorham, diameter measuring 7 7/8 inches (20 cm). Together with an American pair of tongs having one claw grip and one with foliate detail, maker's mark for Bailey & Co., length measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm). Combined weight 8.74 ozt (272 grams). (2).

Condition Report
Both pieces display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Quite heavy tarnishing visible to both and they would benefit from a clean and polish. Some small surface dints visible to the centre of the dish. Tong handles are slightly misshapen. Maker's marks are clear and legible.
