A large 1940's silver cigarette case of oblong form with engine-turned decoration and initialled cartouche. Hallmarked E J Trevitt & Sons, Birmingham 1941. Maximum height measuring 6 inches (15 cm), weight 6.8 ozt (214 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The interior has been gilded but this has significantly worn. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
