Lot Description

A mid-twentieth century cigarette case of rectangular form with engine-turned exterior, having initial cartouche and opening to reveal silver-gilt interior, hallmarked W T Toghill & Co, Birmingham 1947. Together with a 1930's example hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1935. Gross weight 10.38 ozt (263 grams). (2).

In overall fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. One case is heavily tarnished and would benefit from a polish. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
