Lot Description
A late 19th century gold brooch and locket. To include a portrait miniature brooch, the ceramic panel depicting a young boy in period dress within a bead and rope-twist surround, together with an enamel and split pearl locket pendant. Length 2.5 and 3.2cms. Weight 11gms.

<li>Overall condition poor. Significant scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Localised areas of discolouration and scratches.<p>
<li>Beading on the brooch surround is worn in some areas and deficient in others.<p>
<li>Enamel on locket is worn and missing in some areas.<p>
<li>Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li> Locket believed to be 9ct gold front and back not solid.
