A Victorian hardstone or pietra dura specimen desk paperweight. The black slate or Ashford marble rectangular body inlaid with twenty-two egg-shaped specimen marbles and hardstones including malachite, agate, porphyry, pink granite, etc, 8" x 4.25" x 75" high, (20cm x 11cm x 2 cm).
