Lot Description

A half hunter pocket watch by J. W. Benson. 18ct yellow gold case with chapter ring to the front, monogram to the back and personal inscription to the cuvette, hallmarked London 1903. Numbered 58921. Signed keyless wind three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, outer Arabic numeral minute indicators. 50mm. 121gms.

<li>Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.

<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand is loose within the case and moves freely around the dial.

<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.

<li>Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
