Lot Description

Three agate brooches. To include an elongated oval-shape brooch set with multiple agate pieces, a rectangular-shape brooch with central yellow paste flanked by agate pieces and a further brooch. Lengths 5.5 to 8.2cms. Weight 32gms.

Condition Report

This lot is in good condition, with light scratches to the agate and metal in keeping with age and wear. The purple paste brooch has some dirt to the reverse of the paste and a chip to the edge of one piece of agate. The yellow paste is scratched to the surface. The agate to the oval-shape brooch is mounted to a slate backing.
